At SellStock, your privacy is our priority. This policy describes how we handle your information — spoiler: we don't collect it.
Information We Collect
SellStock does not collect any personal information. All your data — products, inventory, customers, sales, and reports — is stored exclusively on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if you enable sync). We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access your data.
Local Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage systems. This includes your products, categories, customers, sales history, and business information. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
When you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account managed by Apple. This allows you to access your data across all your Apple devices. This data is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Camera Access
SellStock requests camera access for two features: scanning barcodes and taking product photos. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server. Camera access is optional and the app works without it.
Push Notifications
SellStock may send local push notifications for low stock alerts. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers.
Analytics & Tracking
SellStock does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry software. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or any other behavioral data. We simply don't know how you use the app.
Third-Party Services
SellStock does not integrate with any third-party services that would collect your data. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud for optional sync, and Apple's AirPrint for receipt printing.
Data Security
Your data is protected by iOS/iPadOS/macOS built-in security features and encryption. If you use iCloud sync, your data is also protected by Apple's iCloud security. We recommend keeping your device updated and using a strong passcode.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy if we add new features. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
